Now digital printing in book printing
process has become more and more popular, and has received better
evaluation in the printing industry. After all, it makes up for some
shortcomings of traditional printing, but it has its special requirements in
the use of digital printing ink.
1. Modern printing equipment is developing
in the direction of one-off multi-color on-line printing, so the ink needs to
have the characteristics of rapid drying, that is, the ink is fixed and dried
quickly after being transferred to the substrate material, so as to meet the
requirements of high-speed multi-color continuous printing in book printing process.
2. Modern printing requires that the ink on
the ink bucket and cots of the printing machine will not dry and bind quickly,
so as not to bring obstacles to the normal printing, so as to better ensure the
printing quality and efficiency.
3. The ink shall not react with the
printing plate, and shall not corrode the printing plate, and shall not reduce
the printing resistance of the printing plate in book printing process.
4. The ink color should be consistent, the
color of each batch of the same type of ink should be the same, the conjunctiva
should be firm, the color should not fade after printing, and the overprint can
produce brightness. In addition to transparent ink, all kinds of ink should
have a certain hiding power, and after overprint, the overprint ink should keep
the original basic color characteristics.
5. Printing ink must adapt to different
types of printing methods and printing equipment for book printing, such
as offset printing ink should have water and acid resistance, gravure printing
ink must be easy to volatilize, etc.
6. The printing ink must also have good
anti sticking and dirty characteristics, that is, when the ink is printed on
the substrate, it is not easy for the imprint to pass the bottom in an instant,
so as to ensure the printing efficiency and quality.
7. Modern printing requires better ink
fineness, that is, the size of pigment (including filler) particles in the ink
and the distribution of pigment particles in the binder should be kept fine and
uniform, so as to better prevent printing defects such as paste plate.
Therefore, in the operation of digital
printing at the same time, the operator can not ignore the maintenance of the
digital printing machine, that is to say, let the digital machine in its more
"comfortable" state of printing, the choice of digital machine ink
can not be ignored, to correctly grasp the special requirements of digital printing
machine using ink.
