In digital printing, spot color printing is
more commonly used because it can meet the personalized needs of customers.
Before spot color printing, it is necessary to set the spot color, that is, to
choose whether to use spot color ink directly for printing or to convert spot
color to CMYK color for printing.

The document received by digital printing
should preferably be PDF or PS and other common printing file formats. Page
size is the net size of the printed document of the books printing. In
addition, make sure that the size of the large version of the document is
correct, otherwise it may be reworked and reprinted in the post-processing.
03 Contents of the edition
The basic elements of the core include
text, image and graphics. In terms of text, the most common problem is font
matching. When there is no font used in the customer file, it is necessary to
negotiate with the customer to replace the font, or provide the relevant font
file by the customer, or let the customer embed the font in the PDF file. In
graphics, because it belongs to vector information, we should pay attention to
color mode and file format. In terms of image, first of all, it is necessary to
control the image resolution. Generally, the resolution of color image should
be at least 300dpi, the gray image should be 600dpi, and the black-and-white
line draft should be 1200dpi. Secondly, the color mode of color image should be
CMYK, and it is better to ensure that the output is in TIFF lossless
compression format, so as to facilitate image printing in books printing and
perfect reproduction of image quality.
