In the traditional printing of mineral
oil-based cleaning agent, but the removal of UV ink needs polar solvent (glycol
ether). For mixed mode applications, there are other combination cleaners (for
UV and traditional ink use) - it may also use two separate systems, one for UV
and one for traditional cleaners. Non classical UV (hybrid) requires a specific
cleaning agent.

important thing is to use only the cleaning agent approved by the printing
machine manufacturer.
It is also important to choose the correct
cleaning procedure and cycle time according to the combination of materials
used (substrate, ink, blanket and roller coating), cleaning system (brush
roller or cleaning cloth) and type of cleaning agent.

makes few changes, will usually find that a cleaner is sufficient for the

Expansion experiment
This simple experience shows that
aggressive detergents swell rubber compounds. Three rubber samples were
immersed in three cleaning agents, and the sharpness increased from left to
right. After 10 hours of soaking, the sample in the right tube swelled badly,
while the sample on the left remained almost unchanged.
The test results are summarized as follows:
Traditional ink: using the cleaning device
to clean with the most commonly used cleaning agent in one time is enough to
achieve good results for single sheet and booklet printing China.
Classic UV ink: it can be cleaned quickly
and effectively by using proper UV cleaning agent; it can also get good effect by
using cleaning device to clean UV ink with combination cleaning agent only
once.
Non classic UV (hybrid) ink: traditional or
classic UV ink cleaners are not suitable for removing these inks from the
blanket or roller. Now there are also special cleaning agents for mixing UV
ink, most of which are based on vegetable oil, with high flash point.
